CCM Quicklite Senior Hockey Pants

CCM Quicklite Senior Hockey Pants

I would venture to say that the piece of equipment least bought is hockey pants. I have seen some old, nasty looking pairs out there on the ice. I have smelt some funky, dank pairs in dressing rooms and on people. They stink, there busted up and its time to get a new pair.

How about the CCM Quicklite Senior Hockey Pants? Glad you asked. Off the bat, I would say that they are more of a narrow fitting pant. And that does not work as well for me. Not that I’m a huge guy, but I may have some dad bod going on. I mean, I use suspenders so the belt doesn’t need to be tightened! But if you are one of those narrow, skinny jeans, slim fit kind of guys, these are probably the hockey pants for you.

Despite what sounds like a negative review of the pants, I do think that they are really light. They offer great protection and come with all of the bells and whistles you’d expect from a high-end hockey pant. It has zippers in the inner thighs for room, it comes with a pro level nylon for better durability and features a lot of stretch for better movement.

On the ice, the Quicklite pants are easy to move in and don’t feel that restrictive. It wasn’t affecting my ability to play or anything like that, it was more a comfort level thing for me. Compared to the CCM Tacks pants, I could feel that they were narrower but oh well. Stuff my fat ass in there and get on with playing. Like I said, I could do everything I needed to on the ice and that’s all that really matters.

The CCM Quicklite Senior Hockey Pants live up to their name. They are light, easy to move in and already feel broken in. They offer high-level protection in a pro level nylon shell. If you are in the market for new hockey pants, consider the CCM Quicklites at $189.99.

Hockey Gear Review recommends the CCM Quicklite Senior Hockey Pants to all players.
