Easton Stealth RS Hockey Pants Review

Easton Stealth RS Hockey Pants Review

When you put on the Easton Stealth RS Hockey Pants, you feel how comfortable that they are. Once you pull them up, you will feel how easily they slide on and how nicely they sit on you.  They have a really nice dual belt system. The first belt cinches up along the waist, similar to all of the other pants on the market. The second belt is what sets it apart from the competition. It cinches up the abdominal protector. That belt really pulls the pants in tight. If you eat too much dinner before you play, you can let it out a bit and if you really like that tight feel, then pull them up real tight! Myself, I always eat a little too much dinner!

Pros:

– Lightweight

– Extra lower/small of the back protection

– Dual belt system for a unique it

– Multiple ventilated areas to help keep you cool

– Zippers in the thigh but with a cover to help keep your skin protected

Cons:

– Unsure about the mesh on the back of the thighs/durability

Easton’s Stealth RS Hockey Pants are a good buy if you are willing to spend top dollar for it. It comes with a $179.99 price tag but you may be able to find it cheaper on the net. Because we didn’t get to keep these pants for an extended period of time, I am unsure of how long the mesh in the back of the thighs will last. But that being said, most of the wear happens on the front and along the hips and in those areas, you are well covered. If you are in the market for new pants, I don’t think that you will be disappointed with the RS pants.

Hockey Gear Review recommends the Easton Hockey RS Pants to intermediate and high level hockey players.

Have had these pants for a good few months now. The mesh on the back thighs hasn’t changed at all. The pants have been built very strong. One downside is the lack of padding on the front compared to high end Bauer pants. You definitely feel more of a blocked shot on these pants than you would on an x60 or totalone pant.
