Postgame 3 in 1 Review

Postgame 3 in 1

The good folks at Postgame sent us some of their post activity 3 in 1 wash. After you finish your game or practice, it is always important to take a shower right away. I don’t know too many people who like to sit in their own sweat for too long! Also you want to wash away any bacteria that may have been transferred from your equipment to you. You just never know and want to avoid getting an infection caused by your hockey stuff (that’s why it is important to air your stuff out as well!). That’s where a product like Postgame comes in handy.

Postgame 3 in 1 is a shampoo, body wash and conditioner. I don’t know if most of you are like me, but I just go out and buy some cheap shampoo at the supermarket and use it to wash my hair and use the suds to wash the rest of my body. I am kind of hoping that it will take care of the job.

Some of the things I wanted to see was if it could take care of the smell from my gloves, to see if I felt clean and to see if I smelled clean! As you know, your gloves tend to be the worst smelling part of your equipment and I am happy to report that Postgame was able to take away that smell in the shower. It also left me feeling quite clean and it had a nice smell to it. It wasn’t overpowering but left you with the sense of being and smelling clean.

Postgame is a great product to keep in your hockey bag. It takes care of having to carry around shampoo and a bar of soap or body wash. With it being an all in one, it takes care of everything and takes up less space in your bag. Postgame is being used by many of the pros now too! It is being used by the likes of the LA Kings, Columbus Blue Jackets, Pittsburgh Penguins, MLB’s New York Mets and Houston Astros and the NFL’s Cleveland Browns among others. I figure that if it’s good enough for the pro’s, then it’s gotta be good enough for me! Hockey Gear Review recommends that all sports players buy Postgame.

*Postgame has extended a special offer to Hockey Gear Review readers. If you go to Postgame’s website and enter in the coupon code ‘DBROWN23’ you will get $1 off each bottle purchased and $1 will be donated to Dustin Brown’s Hit Tracker Foundation. Great product and a great cause!*

Here is an interview we did with Ryan from Postgame.

Hockey Gear Review: Please give a brief description of your company.

Postgame: POSTGAME is a company started by athletes for athletes. The mission of POSTGAME is to create a high quality product line based on sports with NO Sex advertising and to educate athletes on the detrimental affects of Sulfates, Parabens, and Phthalates in hair and skin care products.  The high quality line of products is committed to always remaining free of these chemicals regardless of cost.

HGR: How did the company get its start?

Postgame: Postgame started when I was shopping for shampoo with my oldest son on the way to hockey camp.  We struggled to find a shampoo that he thought was “cool” and I was happy with the message being portrayed and the quality of product.  I saw no alternative and decided to create one.

HGR: What was your influence/inspiration?

Postgame: My inspiration to begin with was to have a company revolving around sports and NOT SEX and that younger athletes would think is cool.  It became equally about the chemical free nature of my products.

HGR: How may people makeup your company?

Postgame: Currently 3.

HGR: What makes your product unique?

Postgame: It is sports themed and features no sex advertising. It is Sulfate, Paraben, Phthalate free formula. It has refreshing scents that are NOT overwhelming. There are also added lotions and conditioners to promote excellent skin/scalp hydration.

HGR: Who is your target audience?

Postgame: Male athletes.

HGR: How can people find you? Online or retailers?

Postgame: The products are available on the website. There is also a list of retail outlets on my website: www.getpostgame.com

HGR: Thank you Ryan and Postgame for your time and we hope for your continued success!
