RBK Platinum Performance Practice Jersey Review

RBK Platinum Performance Practice Jersey Review

When you are watching the news for a report on your favorite team, they will often show footage of the team practicing and wearing different jerseys. Reebok or RBK has created a line of replica practice jerseys for you. The RBK Platinum Performance Practice Jersey is the older style of jersey that they have discontinued, but because you can still find them on the internet, we decided that reviewing it is okay (hope you approve!).

Unlike the Premier Replica jerseys, the practice jerseys are cut bigger or in the more traditional style. This is the cut that I grew up playing in and prefer it to the slimmer cut they use now. I find that there is more range of motion and that you dont feel so restricted.

The jersey feature a mid weight Ultrafil fabric with mesh in the armpits for better ventilation. The jersey is fairly light weight and does breathe well. I did notice that although it features a nice embroidered logo, it is only attached with glue and is not stitched. Once I put the jersey through the wash a few times, the logo has started to peel away from the jersey. Not a big deal, you can attach back yourself by sewing around the premimiter of the logo.

Pros:

  • Cut larger than the Premier replica jersey
  • Light weight
  • Well ventilated in the armpits
  • Nice embroidered logo

Cons:

  • Logo is not well attached
  • Not too crazy about the reflective strip

The RBK Platinum Performance Jersey is a really good and cheaper alternative to the Premier Replica jersey. You can still support your team on or off the ice but with out having the shell out so much cash. If you do a little looking on the net, you can find your teams jersey for $49.00. Hockey Gear Recommends the RBK Platinum Performance Practice Jersey to anyone looking to find a cheap and bigger fitting jeresy to support their team with.
