What Equipment Does Sidney Crosby Use?

In honor of Sid the Kid signing his new 12 year $104.4 million deal, we thought that we would take a look at what the biggest star in the game wears. We know that he has an endorsement deal with Reebok, so lets take a closer look.

Right off the bat, we can see that Sidney uses a Reebok 7K helmet, Reebok 11K Kinetic Fit Gloves, Reebok 11K Pants and a clearly marked Reebok 11K Sickick III one piece stick.

Edit: I did a little more research and found this picture of Sid getting ready for the Winter Classic practice. You can see the inside of his pants and from the photo, I am guessing that he actually uses Reebok MHP520 pants. These are pro stock issue. That means for pro’s only!

In this next shot we can see that he uses RBK 7K Elbow Pads and what appear to be RBK Shin Pads. Edit: I have found a better pic of his elbow pads.

In this locker room shot, you can Sid’s shoulder pads. They are Jofa Shoulder Pads with a RBK shoulder cap sewed on at a later date. And if you look closely, you can see his nasty old jock! Maybe he could buy a new one with that new contract!

Again, here is a better shot of his Jofa Shoulder Pads. Although you might notice that the RBK shoulder caps are different than the ones in the photo above. The above photo is more current than this one below, but I thought that it would give you an idea of what the Jofa part looked like.

Although a little tough to see, the graphics on Sidney’s skates show that in this years playoffs he was wearing Reebok 11K Pump Skates.

Finally the last shot shows a closer shot of Crosby’s helmet. You can also see that he uses a Oakley Pro Straight Visor. Also this is a great shot to show his curve.

Although I believe that he uses a Reebok 7K helmet, the light tan color of the padding may indicate that he uses a RBK 4K helmet. Tough to tell, what do you think?
